REalloys Secures 80% of Output, Taps Ex-Pentagon Chief for 2027 Push

USARUSAR

REalloys appointed ex-Pentagon Chief of Staff Joe Kasper to its advisory board to strengthen its U.S. rare earth supply push ahead of the 2027 Chinese-input ban. It secured 80% of Saskatchewan Research Council’s output and plans to produce 525 tonnes of NdPr metal in phase 1, pressing USA Rare Earth.

1. Leadership Expansion at REalloys

Joe Kasper, former Chief of Staff to the U.S. Secretary of Defense, joined REalloys as chair of its advisory board alongside retired General Jack Keane and GM Defense President Stephen duMont, enhancing the company’s access to defense procurement channels.

2. Offtake Agreement Secured

REalloys locked offtake for 80% of rare earth oxide output from the Saskatchewan Research Council, guaranteeing a critical feedstock supply for its Euclid, Ohio metallization facility.

3. Production Targets Explained

Phase 1 will yield approximately 525 tonnes of neodymium-praseodymium metal annually, with phase 2 set to expand to about 3,500 tonnes of NdPr plus significant dysprosium and terbium volumes.

4. 2027 Procurement Deadline Driving Demand

New U.S. defense rules banning Chinese-origin rare earth materials from January 1, 2027 force contractors to source domestically or from allied suppliers, underlining the urgency of scalable U.S. metallization capacity.
