Red Cat unit Blue Ops partners with Florida Atlantic University to expand maritime defense operations
RCAT•Red Cat’s Blue Ops unit formed a strategic partnership with Florida Atlantic University, gaining access to a secure 144-acre deep-water facility in Fort Pierce, Florida. The work targets uncrewed surface vessels for U.S. and allied defense customers.
1. Facility access
Blue Ops will use Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch facility for development, integration, testing and demonstrations. The site adds real-world on-water evaluation to the unit’s footprint, alongside its West Palm Beach headquarters and Valdosta manufacturing site.
