ReeXploration Intersects Up To 640 cps Uranium Radioactivity In 11-Hole Namibia Drill Program
ReeXploration’s 11-hole, 1,729-metre maiden uranium drilling at Eureka intersected widespread elevated radiometric anomalies, with leucogranite zones yielding up to 640 cps over 4.2 m and several intervals above 400 cps. Near-surface carnotite mineralization was identified in 7 of 11 holes, highlighting dual Rössing- and Langer Heinrich-style targets.
1. Overview of Maiden Drilling Program
ReeXploration completed an 11-hole, 1,729 m reconnaissance drilling program at the Eureka Project in central Namibia, targeting primary uranium mineralization in leucogranites beneath shallow cover and secondary uranium in calcrete and gypcrete horizons.
2. Primary Uranium Intercepts
All 11 holes intersected multiple sheeted leucogranite units, with handheld spectrometer readings up to 640 cps over 4.2 m (SU26-04) and additional intervals of 560 cps over 2.5 m (SU26-11), confirming a Rössing-style geological setting.
3. Secondary Near-Surface Mineralization
Near-surface uranium mineralization, including visible carnotite, was encountered in 7 of 11 holes within calcrete and gypcrete layers, with readings up to 545 cps over 4.7 m, indicating Langer Heinrich-style targets.
4. Planned Follow-Up Work
The company will conduct downhole radiometric surveys, laboratory geochemical analysis of core samples, integrate results with existing datasets and refine vectoring models to define targets for additional drilling.
