Regeneron, Sanofi expand antibody alliance with $1 billion upfront payment
REGN•Regeneron and Sanofi expanded their immunology alliance to co-develop and co-commercialize four long-acting antibodies. Sanofi will pay $1 billion upfront, and Regeneron can earn up to $7 billion in milestones.
1. Alliance expansion
The companies will split global development and commercialization costs, as well as future profits from the new products, 50:50. Regeneron will lead research and development, while Sanofi will lead global commercialization; existing Dupixent profit-sharing terms remain unchanged. REGN20423 is in Phase 1 for atopic dermatitis, and the three other programs are expected to enter clinical studies in 2027.
