Margin and efficiency move in mixed directions
Net interest margin narrowed 0.01 percentage point to 3.66%, while the efficiency ratio widened to 58.3% from 56.6%.
Credit quality improves and dividend is increased
Net charge-offs fell to 0.42% of average loans from 0.54%, with the allowance for credit losses ratio easing to 1.63% from 1.68%.
The board raised the quarterly common dividend 13% to $0.30 per share.
2Q FY26 results improve on higher revenue and net interest income
Regions posted 2Q 2026 net income available to common shareholders of $549 million, lifting diluted EPS 8% to $0.64.
Total revenue edged up 2% quarter-on-quarter to $1.91 billion, with net interest income rising 2.3% to $1.28 billion.
