Rekor Systems terminates long-term real estate leases, cuts USD 10 million in obligations
REKR•Lease exits reduce obligations and fixed costs
Rekor terminated its last two long-term real estate leases in the U.S. and Israel, eliminating about USD 10 million in lease obligations.
The transaction uses about USD 2.8 million in cash to exit the leases, removing related deposits, fixed assets, and right-of-use assets.
The company said the move is expected to generate more than USD 2 million in annualized savings, lowering fixed costs and supporting its profitability plan.
