Carbon steel net sales reached $1.92 billion, up 14.4% year-over-year and above forecasts, while aluminium net sales grew 16.9% to $624.5 million. Alloy sales rose 8.7% to $155.5 million, but stainless steel net sales declined 1.3% to $467.1 million, each near or slightly below estimates.
