Republic Services released its 2025 Sustainability Report, citing $973 million in sustainability investments during the year.
Investments included nine new renewable natural gas projects and expansion of its electric collection fleet to more than 180 trucks.
Progress toward 2030 targets included a safety rate 23% better than the industry average and a 37% cut in total fleet emissions since 2017.
Employee engagement reached 87, and community programs have impacted 25 million people since 2017.
