NEW YORK, July 29 (Reuters) - Sandwich chain Jersey Mike's priced its U.S. initial public offering (IPO) at $23 per share on Wednesday, at the midpoint of its indicated price range, making it one of the largest restaurant IPOs in recent years, people familiar with the matter said.
The IPO raised around $1 billion based on around 43.5 million shares sold, implying a valuation for the Blackstone-backed restaurant chain of around $7.3 billion.
The sources requested anonymity ahead of an official announcement. Jersey Mike's did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Blackstone declined to comment.
