Rhode Island Energy conditionally selects 150 MW from Clearway northern Maine wind project

Rhode Island Energy, a unit of PPL, conditionally selected 150 MW from Clearway’s proposed 800 MW onshore wind project in northern Maine.
Procurement would be via a long-term power purchase agreement, subject to contract talks with Clearway. The deal also requires regulatory approvals from the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission.
