Richtech Robotics, SoundHound Debut Agentic Voice Beverage Robot at NRA Show
Richtech Robotics entered a non-binding LOI with SoundHound AI to integrate agentic voice AI into its Scorpion robotic beverage system for a live demonstration at the National Restaurant Association Show May 16–19 in Chicago. The collaboration aims to develop scalable voice ordering and robotic fulfillment solutions with subscription RaaS offerings.
1. Non-binding Letter of Intent
Richtech Robotics and SoundHound AI signed a non-binding LOI to integrate SoundHound’s agentic voice AI capabilities into Richtech’s Scorpion robotic platform, aiming to facilitate natural speech-based ordering and service in hospitality settings.
2. Demonstration at NRA Show
The companies will showcase the integrated voice-enabled beverage service at the National Restaurant Association Show May 16–19 in Chicago, booth #6857, alongside Richtech’s ADAM humanoid making noodles at booth #3885.
3. Goals of Integration
The partnership seeks to deliver an end-to-end system combining voice ordering with robotic fulfillment to humanize automation and enhance customer experience through more intuitive human-robot interactions.
4. Commercial and RaaS Plans
Beyond the initial showcase, Richtech and SoundHound plan co-marketing initiatives, bundled solutions, and potential subscription-based Robotics-as-a-Service offerings to drive broader adoption in hospitality and service industries.
