Boeing secured Riyadh Air’s exercise of options for 28 additional 787 Dreamliners from its 2023 order.
- The deal includes converting 20 of those aircraft to the larger 787-10 variant.
- The announcement also disclosed a previously unidentified purchase of 11 787s.
- Once the remaining 17 aircraft are finalized, Riyadh Air’s firm 787 order book will rise to 67 jets.
- Riyadh Air has taken delivery of six 787-9s.
