Riyadh Air will collect its first two of seven Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets this week at Boeing’s Charleston plant, with inaugural commercial flights to London scheduled for July 1.
The carrier will unveil 22 additional routes shortly after launch as it pursues a plan to serve 100 cities worldwide within five years and build a fleet of over 180 jets.
By maintaining operations at Riyadh’s King Khalid airport during regional disruption, the airline aims to capture traffic diverted from Gulf hubs and strengthen Boeing’s order pipeline.
