1. Survey findings
The Protiviti–NC State survey found that cyber threats, AI implementation risks and economic uncertainty were the top near-term concerns among 1,330 board and C-suite respondents. Only 38% reported high confidence in agility, and 78% lacked strong confidence across transformation, protection and response readiness. The share seeing significant revenue opportunities over the next two to three years fell to 64% from 69%, while the share citing ecosystem partnerships as a major growth opportunity rose to 65% from 62%.
