Robert Hunter to be new UnitedHealthcare president
UNH•UnitedHealth executive Robert Hunter said he would become president of UnitedHealthcare, the company's insurance division. Tim Noel will continue as the division's chief executive.
1. Leadership appointment
Hunter announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post. He has held several roles at UnitedHealth over the past 15 years, including CEO of government programs and the top role at UnitedHealthcare's Medicare and retirement segment.
2. Modernization focus
Hunter said his focus would be helping accelerate the company's modernization agenda to make healthcare more connected, easier to navigate and simpler to understand.
