Roblox closed 2025 with fourth-quarter bookings of $2.2 billion, marking a 63% year-over-year increase, while platform engagement hours jumped 88% to 35 billion. This surge underscores accelerating monetization as core user activity intensifies across its ecosystem.
2. Rapid Expansion of Paying Users
Monthly unique payers reached nearly 37 million in Q4, nearly double the prior year and showing sequential gains. Growth was broad-based, with the United States and Canada each recording roughly 34% annual increases in paying user counts.
3. Demographic and Content Diversification
Users aged 18 and older expanded more than 50% year over year and spend about 40% more than younger cohorts, prompting Roblox to develop genres like shooters, RPGs and sports. Content beyond the top 10 titles also grew faster in both engagement and bookings, highlighting a maturing content mix.
4. New Game Development Programs
Roblox introduced two strategic initiatives to empower developers in creating next-generation games, featuring expanded genres such as role-play, strategy and shooters. These programs will offer fresh gameplay mechanics and distinct visual styles to meet evolving audience demands.
