Placeve’s photonic-electronic AI processor technology is under evaluation in NASA’s MISSE program aboard the International Space Station.

The companies will evaluate Placeve’s Fourier Processing Unit-based AI processor architecture for defense, space, autonomous systems and commercial edge computing.
Joint work targets hardware integration, software optimization, performance-per-watt gains, validation testing and deployment pathways for commercial, defense and orbital environments.
