Rockwell Automation joins founding group of Digital CMC Consortium for pharma development digitization

The nonprofit, precompetitive collaboration focuses on Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls workflows, aiming to replace manual, document-based processes with open digital standards. Its near-term work centers on digital tech transfer and structured knowledge sharing between drug developers and contract development and manufacturing organizations; longer-term plans include automated documentation, digital twins and artificial intelligence across the CMC lifecycle.
