Quarterly revenue tops estimates

Rogers Communications on Wednesday posted second-quarter revenue above analysts' estimates, as the Canadian telecom company benefited from growth in its media and sports businesses.

The wireless service provider reported second-quarter revenue of C$5.62 billion, compared with analysts' average estimate of C$5.55 billion ($3.94 billion), according to data compiled by LSEG.
