Romania signs contract to buy 12 Airbus H225M helicopters
Airbus won a Romanian government contract to supply 12 H225M multirole military helicopters. The aircraft will begin replacing Romania’s IAR-330 Puma fleet for conventional missions and special operations.

Romania signed a contract with France’s Armament General Directorate for 12 Airbus H225M multirole military helicopters under the European Commission’s Security Action for Europe initiative. The aircraft will begin replacing Romania’s IAR-330 Puma fleet for conventional missions and special operations.
2. Industrial work
Airbus expects additional industrial work in Romania through its long-term partnership with helicopter manufacturer IAR.
