Ross Muken Named CEO Effective July 1 with Camblong as Executive Chair
SOPH•Ross Muken will become CEO of SOPHiA GENETICS on July 1, 2026, after roles as President since November 2024 and prior CFO/COO. Co-founder Jurgi Camblong is nominated as Executive Chairman at the June 18 AGM, while Chairman Troy Cox seeks re-election as a non-executive director for board continuity.
1. CEO Appointment
Ross Muken will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer on July 1, 2026. He joined SOPHiA GENETICS in February 2021 as CFO, advanced to CFO and COO in March 2023, and was named President in November 2024, bringing over 20 years of life sciences and financial expertise.
2. Board Governance Transition
At the June 18 AGM, co-founder Jurgi Camblong is nominated as Executive Chairman, focusing on technology innovation and long-term strategy. Troy Cox will stand for re-election as a non-executive director, while the Board plans a rotating Lead Independent Director role and regular independent sessions to strengthen oversight.
