Royal Caribbean Offers 3X Points Tri-Branded Cards; Temas Opens Ontario RCL Lab
Royal Caribbean Group and Bank of America will launch tri-branded Royal ONE and Royal ONE Plus Visa Signature cards offering 3X points on cruise purchases, priority boarding, anniversary rewards and no foreign fees. Temas opened an Ontario lab to accelerate RCL extraction technology scale-up and third-party licensing.
1. Tri-Branded Credit Card Launch
Royal Caribbean Group and Bank of America will introduce the Royal ONE and Royal ONE Plus Visa Signature cards in the coming weeks. The no-fee Royal ONE card awards 3X points on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea purchases, while the $99-annual-fee Royal ONE Plus card offers 4X points on cruise bookings, plus elevated travel perks such as suite boarding and a $200 anniversary reward. Both cards include no foreign transaction fees, Visa Signature travel protections and anniversary incentives designed to boost guest loyalty and onboard spending.
2. Ontario RCL Metallurgical Lab
Temas has commissioned a new RCL metallurgical laboratory in Ontario to advance scale-up of its proprietary extraction technology. The facility will support third-party testwork, joint-venture projects and global licensing agreements, positioning the company to generate contract revenue and accelerate commercial deployment of its processing solutions.
