Royal Gold published a transcript of its FQ2 2026 earnings call attended by CEO William H. Heissenbuttel, CFO Paul K. Libner, SVP Operations Martin Raffield, and SVP IR Alistair Baker.
Quarter revenue was $451 million; operating cash flow was $335 million; net income was $236 million; and adjusted EPS was $2.56 on 100,000 GEOs.
Capital returns, balance sheet actions and project updates
Capital returns and balance sheet actions included $40 million in dividends, $30 million in buyback for 147,000 shares, and $200 million in revolver repayment; liquidity was $1.2 billion.
The Hod Maden stake was cut to 15% for additional royalties; Royal Gold funded $70 million in Q2; expects to resume contributions mid-2027; and targets 2028 initial concentrate.
Relief Canyon settlement accelerated 5,000 gold ounces; advanced deliveries added about in revenue; and the company expects another repaid in July and mid-August.
