- RTX unit Collins Aerospace formed a nacelle MRO joint venture with Etihad Engineering to expand service capacity in Abu Dhabi.
- The venture targets nacelle and thrust reverser work for Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 fleets across regional and international carriers.
- Collins will move existing UAE nacelle operations to Etihad Engineering’s Zayed International Airport site, doubling its Middle East footprint.
- The facility spans 3,250 sq m and is planned to enter service in Q1 2027.
