RTX secured a $1.03 billion U.S. Army contract to deliver its LTAMDS long-range radar, enhancing the Army’s air and missile defense capabilities. This award strengthens RTX’s revenue visibility and underscores its leadership in next-generation defense system production.

1. Five Landmark Defense Production Agreements

RTX’s Raytheon business has sealed five framework agreements with the U.S. Department of War to boost annual production of critical munitions over the next seven years. Under these deals, RTX will expand Tomahawk cruise missile output to more than 1,000 units annually, raise AMRAAM® missile production to at least 1,900 per year and scale SM-6 output beyond 500 units. Production of SM-3 Block IIA interceptors will accelerate significantly, while SM-3 Block IB rates will grow two to four times current levels. These agreements leverage RTX’s recent investments in technology, facilities and workforce at its Tucson, Huntsville and Andover sites and are structured to preserve free cash flow through collaborative funding, underpinning the company’s 2026 financial outlook.

2. Collins Aerospace Secures Singapore Airlines 777 Maintenance Program

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, has signed a multi-year FlightSense maintenance services contract covering all 27 of Singapore Airlines’ Boeing 777 aircraft, including five new freighters. Under the agreement, Collins will deliver its FlightSense digital monitoring platform to optimize engine and airframe health, predictive maintenance and parts logistics. The program is designed to reduce unscheduled ground time, improve dispatch reliability and deliver cost predictability over the fleet’s remaining service life. Operations will be supported through Collins’ global network of data centers and MRO facilities.

3. Pratt & Whitney Wins Vietjet A320neo Family Order and 12-Year Service

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, secured Vietjet Air’s order for 44 additional GTF-powered Airbus A320neo family aircraft—24 A321neos and 20 A321XLRs—bringing the carrier’s total GTF commitments to 137 jets. Deliveries begin in July 2026. The deal includes a 12-year EngineWise Comprehensive service agreement covering lifecycle maintenance, repair and overhaul. Vietjet projects up to 20% fuel savings per flight and has already operated 42 GTF-powered A321neos since 2018, flying more than 16 million engine hours to date.

4. $1.03 Billion LTAMDS Radar Contract Strengthens Army Partnership

RTX has been awarded a $1.03 billion contract by the U.S. Army for the production and delivery of its Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) radar system. The deal covers long-lead materials, initial production units and integrated logistics support, extending RTX’s role in advanced air and missile defense. LTAMDS provides 360-degree surveillance with multi-mission capability against cruise, ballistic and rotary-wing threats. This contract enhances RTX’s long-term revenue visibility in the defense sector and leverages its manufacturing footprint across multiple U.S. facilities.
