1. RTX’s Blue Canyon Technologies Powers NASA’s Pandora Exoplanet Mission

Blue Canyon Technologies, the small satellite arm of RTX, successfully launched its Saturn-200 minisatellite this week in support of NASA’s Pandora mission. The platform carries the largest telescope payload ever integrated on a Blue Canyon bus and will observe transits of at least 20 exoplanets to characterize their atmospheres. Blue Canyon provided end-to-end services including launch vehicle integration and post-launch commissioning, bringing its total spacecraft launched to 87 units. With more than 160 spacecraft orders in its backlog, Blue Canyon’s continued growth in the small-satellite market diversifies RTX’s revenue streams beyond its core defense businesses and underscores its technological leadership in precision guidance, navigation and control systems.
