** Shares of RUM Group RUM.O surged 23.5% to $8.85 premarket following a report of a deal with AI lab Anthropic
** The Information reported on Sunday that Anthropic had signed a computing deal with RUM Group, which hosts U.S. President Donald Trump's Truth Social platform
** RUM said on August 24 that it had signed a deal worth $13.7 billion with a U.S.-based cloud customer, without unveiling the name
** Under the deal, the customer will get access to GPUs and related services from RUM Group's Georgia site
** The customer would also have the option to buy around 51 million shares of its stock for just one cent each, over the course of six years
** Previously known as Rumble, the company started operating as RUM Group in June after acquiring German AI cloud firm Northern Data
** RUM shares were up 13.5% year to date as of the last close
