Rumble to Add 22,400 Nvidia H100/H200 GPUs After Northern Data Deal
NVDA•Rumble’s pending acquisition of Northern Data will add about 22,400 Nvidia H100 and H200 GPUs and European data centers to its high-performance computing operations. The company also secured a multi-year agreement to deploy Nvidia HGX B300 Blackwell systems, potentially boosting demand for Nvidia AI hardware.
1. Acquisition Progress
Rumble has secured 85.2% of Northern Data’s share capital by tendering over 8.1 million shares and expects to close the deal in mid-June. Upon closing, Rumble will acquire Northern Data’s high-performance computing assets and its data center network across Europe and the U.S.
2. Nvidia Hardware Expansion
The acquisition brings approximately 22,400 Nvidia H100 and H200 GPUs into Rumble’s infrastructure, significantly expanding its AI computing capacity. The added European data centers will support large-scale machine learning workloads using these advanced chips.
3. HGX B300 Blackwell Partnership
Rumble signed a multi-year commercial agreement to deploy Nvidia’s latest HGX B300 Blackwell systems, targeting enterprise clients seeking large-scale AI and high-performance computing services. This partnership positions Rumble to capture increased demand for Nvidia’s top-tier AI hardware.
