Rush Enterprises, MCT Companies complete 50-50 joint venture in Carrier Transicold dealer network

Rush Enterprises completed a 50-50 joint venture with MCT Companies, effective Aug. 31, 2026, via MCT Holdco.
The deal adds MCT’s Carrier Transicold refrigeration dealership network to Rush’s portfolio, expanding into adjacent transport refrigeration services.
Accounting treatment for Rush
Rush will account for the stake as an equity-method investment, excluding the venture from consolidation in its Truck Segment.
MCT Companies to continue operating under its name
MCT Companies will keep operating under its name, led by CEO and president Bill Willett.
