Ryde targets AI-enabled operations to advance Ryde 2.0 mobility platform strategy
RYDE•Ryde Group plans to assess, test and pilot AI, EV fleet technology and digital payment initiatives over the next 12 months, prioritizing those with clear operational or commercial returns.
1. AI and fleet plans
Ryde Group outlined the next phase of its Ryde 2.0 plan, shifting toward an AI-enabled mobility ecosystem centered on EVs, fleet services and payments. It plans to assess, prioritize, test and pilot initiatives over the next 12 months, focusing on those with clear operational or commercial returns.
2. Tools under evaluation
Planned AI applications include dispatch, demand forecasting, ETAs, ridesharing and scheduled mobility, with automated job acceptance under evaluation for select segments. EV and fleet technology work will target higher utilization through vehicle allocation, charging optimization, energy analytics, maintenance visibility, driver assignment and fleet reporting. Ryde is also evaluating digital assets as a customer payment option through third-party processors; drivers and partners would continue to settle in fiat currency.
