Ryerson net income rises to $15.5 million in Q2 FY26; net sales climb 71.6% to $2.01 billion

- Net sales more than doubled to $2.01 billion, reflecting the Feb. 13 Olympic Steel merger and higher metal prices.
- Operating profit climbed to $34.4 million from $5.8 million, while gross margin narrowed 0.2 percentage points to 17.7%.
- Cash used in operating activities widened to $157.8 million from $2.4 million on higher receivables and inventories.
- The combined business targets about $120 million of annual synergies by early 2028 through procurement scale, efficiency gains, and network optimization.
