Sabre Launches Agentic AI for Automated Ticket Reissues with Linex Travel in 12 Countries
SABR•Sabre’s MCP server is now live with Linex Travel (formerly Ultra Group), expanding loyalty redemption services across 12 Latin American countries for top-tier banking clients. The agentic AI deployment automates ticket reissues, dynamic exchanges and servicing updates, powering Linex’s global expansion under private equity owner Linex Capital.
1. Partnership Launch
Sabre Corporation has implemented its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in collaboration with Linex Travel (formerly Ultra Group), marking the first commercial deployment of its agentic AI technology within a major travel loyalty platform. This partnership follows Ultra Group’s acquisition by Linex Capital to build a next-generation loyalty redemption marketplace for international banking clients.
2. Agentic AI in Practice
The MCP-powered agentic AI now manages complex, data-intensive post-booking processes, including ticket reissues, dynamic exchanges and service updates, which previously required manual intervention. By automating these workflows, Sabre delivers production-ready AI agents capable of interacting directly with travel systems to execute multi-step tasks autonomously.
3. Strategic Impact and Expansion
Linex Travel, owned by Linex Capital, currently serves over 30 banking clients across 12 Latin American countries and will leverage Sabre Mosaic™ platform for further global growth. This deployment underscores Sabre’s strategy to embed AI at the core of travel retailing and loyalty, positioning both companies to capture evolving opportunities in AI-driven travel experiences.
