Sabre Secures Multi-Year PSS Renewal with WestJet for Global Expansion

Sabre renewed its multi-year SabreSonic Passenger Service System agreement with WestJet, extending a 25-year partnership to support over 100 destinations across four continents. The deal secures continued access to scalable reservation, ticketing and ancillary services while enabling future adoption of Sabre’s Offer and Order and cloud-native SabreMosaic retailing platforms.

1. Partnership Renewal

Sabre has signed a multi-year extension of its SabreSonic Passenger Service System agreement with WestJet, marking more than 25 years of technology partnership. This long-term commitment underscores WestJet’s confidence in Sabre’s ability to support its growth strategies.

2. Operational Support

Under the renewed agreement, WestJet will continue leveraging SabreSonic PSS capabilities for reservations, ticketing, check-in and ancillary services across more than 100 destinations in North and South America, Europe and Asia. The scalable system is designed to maintain operational excellence as passenger volumes grow.

3. Future-Ready Retailing

The renewal sets the foundation for WestJet to evaluate and deploy Sabre’s next-generation Offer and Order-based retailing and the cloud-native SabreMosaic Airline Retailing platform. This positions WestJet to adopt modular, modern retailing solutions as its business model evolves.
