Safe Bulkers Q2 FY26 net income more than doubles to USD 35.2 million; net revenues rise 33% to USD 87.5 million

Safe Bulkers posted Q2 net income of USD 35.2 million, returning to profit from USD 1.7 million a year earlier.
Net revenues climbed 33% to USD 87.5 million, driven by higher charter hires and increased earnings from scrubber-fitted vessels.
Dividend, fleet and capital returns
The board raised the quarterly common dividend to USD 0.075 per share, payable Aug. 26 to holders of record Aug. 13.
The fleet stood at 46 vessels at quarter-end; leverage was about 30% based on vessels’ market valuations.
The repurchase program bought back 515,469 common shares as of July 24. Management cited a relatively strong charter market.
