1. Strong Q1 Revenue Growth at The Sage Group plc

The Sage Group reported a robust start to fiscal 2026, delivering total group revenue of £674 million in the first quarter, representing a 10% year-on-year increase. North America led the gains with revenue rising 13% to £304 million, driven by accelerated uptake of its cloud financial management solutions. Meanwhile, the U.K., Ireland, Africa and Asia Pacific region achieved 10% growth, reflecting broad-based demand across small and medium-sized enterprise customers.

2. Cloud Product Momentum and Strategic Leadership

Cloud offerings remained a key growth engine, with Sage Intacct experiencing double-digit expansion in North America and underpinning much of the regional uplift. Established on-premise suites Sage 200 and Sage 50 also contributed to the 13% North American increase, while cross-sell initiatives bolstered uptake of complementary modules. The quarter marked the first full reporting period under CFO Jacqui Cartin, who began on January 1 and emphasized tight cost control alongside reinvestment in platform innovation to sustain margins and support scalable growth.
