Sagtec Global management says 1H ended June 30, 2026 net profit slips 10% on higher operating expenses despite lower cost of sales

For the six months ended June 30, 2026, revenue rose about 1% to RM 48.54 million, while net profit fell 10% to RM 4.94 million.
Gross profit climbed 46% to RM 14.07 million, driven by a 10% drop in cost of sales to RM 34.47 million.
Services gross profit jumped 170% to RM 8.22 million, reflecting lower service delivery costs from operating efficiency and infrastructure utilization.
Revenue mix and expenses
Tangible products revenue fell 12% to RM 16.47 million, led by a 19% drop in food ordering kiosk sales; power bank charging station revenue slipped 4%.
Net profit was pressured by a 98% rise in operating expenses to RM 7.64 million, tied to post-IPO corporate expansion costs.
