SAIC names David Benson, David Cush to board, expands directors to 12
SAIC•Background on the new directors
Benson is a former president of Fannie Mae and previously served as chief financial officer. He oversaw more than $25 billion in annual revenue and about 8,000 employees.
Cush is a former chief executive of Virgin America. He led the carrier through its IPO, and it was later sold to Alaska Air for $4 billion.
Board expansion and new appointments
SAIC appointed David C. Benson and David Cush to its board, effective Aug. 20, 2026.
The board expanded to 12 members from 10, and both new directors will join the audit committee.
Benson will also join the compensation committee, while Cush will join the nominating and governance committee.
