Science Applications International Corp served as the mission assurance partner for NASA’s Artemis II, overseeing safety standards across Crew Survival Analysis, Exploration Ground Systems, the Space Launch System and the Orion spacecraft during the 10-day lunar flyby mission.

SAIC teams conducted comprehensive safety analysis, integrated hazard evaluations and real-time anomaly monitoring throughout launch, in-flight operations and reentry, while developing landing and recovery simulation tools for Orion and inspecting both hardware and software systems for reliability.
