SailPoint Appoints Ex-Microsoft Identity Head Levent Besik as Chief Product Officer
SailPoint has appointed Levent Besik as Chief Product Officer, where he will lead the product organization reporting to CTO Chandra Gnanasambandam. Besik joins from Microsoft’s Identity division with prior executive roles at Okta and Google to accelerate AI-powered identity security innovation and reinforce SailPoint’s market leadership.

Levent Besik has joined SailPoint as Chief Product Officer, reporting to EVP of Product and CTO Chandra Gnanasambandam. In this role, he will lead the entire product organization, focusing on innovation and growth in enterprise identity security.
2. Background and Strategic Impact
Besik brings experience from Microsoft’s Identity division where he managed the Human and Agentic Identity platform, and has held senior product roles at Okta and Google’s Cloud AI platform. His leadership aims to accelerate development of AI-driven identity governance and reinforce SailPoint’s position in the security market.
