SailPoint to Acquire Entro, Adding Coverage of 1,200 Credential Types
SAIL•SailPoint will acquire Tel Aviv–based Entro to integrate its non-human identity scanning and secrets discovery into the Agentic Fabric platform, extending coverage to over 1,000 AI agent types and 1,200 credential types. The deal is expected to close in Q3 of fiscal 2027, subject to customary conditions.
1. Transaction Details
SailPoint announced its intent to acquire Entro, a Tel Aviv–based specialist in non-human identity and credential security. The acquisition aims to accelerate the Agentic Fabric platform by embedding Entro’s deep secrets discovery and non-human identity scanning capabilities.
2. Integration of Entro Capabilities
Entro offers agentless visibility into over 1,000 non-human identity and AI agent types and discovers more than 1,200 credential types—including secrets, tokens, certificates—across 70 enterprise sources such as cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines. These features will be woven into Agentic Fabric to provide unified discovery, governance, and protection of machine identities.
3. Strategic Benefits for Agentic Fabric
By combining SailPoint’s adaptive identity security with Entro’s lineage mapping, customers gain real-time context tying non-human identities back to human owners for accountability and automated remediation. The enhanced platform will enforce zero-standing privileges and detect behavioral anomalies through proprietary Non-Human Identity Detection and Response capabilities.
4. Timeline and Closing Conditions
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to finalize in the third quarter of fiscal 2027. Upon closing, SailPoint customers will immediately benefit from the expanded visibility and control features, reinforcing the company’s leadership in AI-era identity security.
