SailPoint unveils autonomous identity security tools at Navigate 2026 conference
SAIL•SailPoint launched autonomous identity security tools at its Navigate 2026 conference, including automated governance and threat response for AI agents. It said 79% of enterprises run AI agents in production, while 2% use identity security tools designed to govern them.
1. New security tools
SailPoint introduced Autonomous Agents for automated identity governance and threat response across AI agents, along with Autonomous Identity Security Posture Management to identify identity exposures and trigger remediation, including automated policy enforcement. It also expanded Agentic Fabric with AI agent discovery and runtime controls, including a kill switch, and outlined conditional just-in-time provisioning for humans, service accounts and AI agents as part of a push toward zero standing privilege.
