1. Acquisition of m3ter for Usage-Based AI Billing
Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to buy m3ter, a metering and rating platform that tracks consumption, rates usage and bills customers in real time. The technology will be embedded into Agentforce Revenue Management, enabling companies to shift from flat subscriptions to flexible, consumption-based pricing for AI products, with the deal expected to close in Q2 FY2027.
2. Flosum’s Agentic DevOps Approach
Flosum unveiled its Agentic DevOps solution to streamline large-scale deployments and governance of Salesforce Agentforce. The platform addresses complex release management, compliance enforcement and goal-driven workflows, with customer case studies showing up to a threefold increase in deployment velocity.
3. Token’s Biometric Authentication Tools
Token introduced TokenCore Wearable and TokenCore Portable devices to provide Salesforce customers and administrators with phishing-resistant access methods. These biometric solutions aim to counter AI-driven phishing, vishing and credential theft by ensuring strong identity verification for all Salesforce entry points.
