Sam’s Club Raises Membership Fees by $10, Expands into Six Cities
Sam’s Club will raise its Club membership fee from $50 to $60 and its Plus fee from $110 to $120 effective May 1, increasing the Plus cashback cap from $500 to $750. The warehouse chain plans to open six new outlets this year in Tennessee, California and Texas.

Starting May 1, Sam’s Club will increase its standard Club membership fee from $50 to $60 annually and its Plus membership fee from $110 to $120, representing a 20% and 9% rise respectively.
2. Store Expansion Plans
The warehouse club intends to open six new locations later this year, with planned outlets in Lebanon, Tennessee; Lathrop and Visalia, California; and Baytown, Tomball and Weslaco, Texas.
3. Enhanced Plus Rewards
Plus members will now be able to earn up to $750 annually in Sam’s Cash rewards, up from a $500 cap, aiming to bolster loyalty and offset the higher membership cost.
