Samsung Electronics commits $1 billion to KKR-backed Helix Digital AI buildout
Samsung Electronics committed $1 billion through its capital fund to support Helix Digital’s global AI infrastructure buildout. The commitment adds to more than $10 billion already committed to the Helix strategy.

Helix Digital said Samsung Electronics committed $1 billion through its capital fund to support the company’s global AI infrastructure buildout. The commitment builds on more than $10 billion of capital already committed to the Helix strategy.
2. Helix infrastructure focus
Helix said it invests in, delivers and manages AI-enabling infrastructure, including hyperscale data centers, power generation and transmission, fiber and connectivity assets. The company expects to use Samsung’s technology and energy storage capabilities, alongside Nvidia’s full-stack technology, to accelerate AI infrastructure development and delivery. Helix’s anchor investors include KKR, the Kuwait Investment Authority and Nvidia.
