SNY•Sanofi raised its 2026 sales growth forecast to a low-teens percentage from 10% and expects business operating income per share to grow by a mid-teens percentage. 1. Higher growth forecast
Sanofi said it expects sales to grow by a low-teens percentage this year, up from its previous forecast of 10%, citing strong demand for its asthma drug Dupixent. It now expects business operating income per share to grow by a mid-teens percentage.
2. Considering larger deals
Chief Financial Officer François Roger said Sanofi is considering deals larger than its historically typical €2 billion to €5 billion range, with interest in phase-three and potentially commercial assets. The company is looking at rare diseases, vaccines and immunology, as well as areas with unmet medical needs.
3. Quarterly income beats expectations
Sanofi reported third-quarter business operating income of €5.43 billion, compared with market expectations of €4.32 billion. Some analysts estimate the company has about €20 billion in deal-making firepower.
