Sanofi names Jamie Haney general counsel in executive committee reshuffle

Sanofi reshaped its Executive Committee, effective Sept. 1, 2026, as it prepares its next strategic phase.
- Madeleine Roach, currently Head of Business Operations, will become president and country lead for Germany, Switzerland, Austria.
- Her business services remit will move into Finance, expanding François Roger’s scope to include Global Partnering and Business Development.
- Olivier Charmeil, currently EVP General Medicines, will shift to strategic projects adviser to CEO Belén Garijo.
- General Counsel Roy Papatheodorou will leave; Jamie Haney will join as EVP General Counsel.
