SAP targets Autonomous Enterprise push with new Industry AI portfolio, forward-deployed teams

SAP said the commercial approach targets a single packaged offering covering platform consumption, cloud services, solutions, engineering, and support, priced on customer business value.

Priority use cases include operational resilience in regulated sectors, such as grid restoration, production continuity, inventory positioning, and automated batch release.

SAP unveiled an Industry AI portfolio aimed at scaling agentic AI inside core enterprise processes, targeting an “autonomous enterprise” operating model.

The plan centers on embedding forward-deployed engineering teams with customers to build, deploy, then productize industry-specific AI applications.

The strategy leans on SAP’s industry process expertise, customer data footprint, ontologies, business AI platform, and knowledge graph to support explainable execution.
