Satellogic names Jamil Kawar senior vice president, space systems
Satellogic named Jamil Kawar senior vice president, space systems, joining its space systems sales team to expand sovereign satellite constellation programs.
Kawar most recently served as SVP, international satellite sales at BlackSky, leading international sales across space-based intelligence, defense, and space systems.
He previously spent nearly seven years at ICEYE in senior commercial roles focused on space missions and space systems sales in the MENA region.
The appointment targets rising government demand to own and operate national Earth observation capabilities rather than rely on tasking-based imagery access.
