Scandic signs deal to operate 284-room Hilton hotel near Copenhagen Airport
HLT•Scandic Hotels Group will operate a 284-room Hilton Hotels & Resorts property at Scanport near Copenhagen Airport under a franchise agreement, with opening expected in 2029. The plans also include a phased renovation of Hilton Helsinki Airport.
1. Copenhagen hotel planned
Scandic Hotels Group entered a multiyear agreement with Hilton to pursue hotel developments across four Nordic markets, excluding broad portfolio conversions. The partnership includes a 284-room Hilton Hotels & Resorts property at Scanport, adjacent to Copenhagen Airport, which Scandic will operate under a Hilton franchise agreement.
2. Opening and renovation plans
The hotel is expected to open in 2029, with construction to begin once remaining conditions are met. Plans also include a phased renovation of Hilton Helsinki Airport to modernize key guest-facing areas.
