Scotiabank appoints ex-UBS CEO Ralph Hamers to board

Hamers joins Scotiabank board

The Bank of Nova Scotia appointed Ralph Hamers to its board, effective immediately.
Hamers previously served as CEO of UBS from 2020 to 2023.
He was CEO of ING from 2013 to 2020, leading large-scale digital transformation programs.
Hamers is currently chair of Banking Circle Group.
